Alternative Gifts

If you often find yourself wanting to give gifts to loved-ones who really don't need more "stuff", here is an alternative that allows you to provide a thoughtful gift while also helping someone in Guatemala. Choose the donation or donations you would like to make from the shopping list below (you can fill the form out and print it directly from this page if you would like) and we will send a card to the person you wish to honor and include information on the donation made on their behalf.

A: No, these amounts show how much your donation can provide for a developing Mayan community in Guatemala. Each year CESSMAQ's board of directors prepares a workplan, based on the progress of existing projects and their analysis of community needs, and submits this to Mission Presbytery's partnership committee. The latest workplan is at http://www.main.org/cessmaq/en/projects/proj.html . Your donation for ongoing development will support these workplan items. Your donation for hurricane Stan relief will support the shorter-term needs this disaster created in CESSMAQ's partner communities.
